Integrated paymentsFrom the invoice to paid. Connected.
Connect payments to Marlin with integrated card terminals and payment links. Take payments at the counter or remotely, with GTX deposit workflows for bookings and work orders.
How MPay fits together
Connect the payment to the work you’ve already done
MPay adds payments to your Marlin setup. Take a card at the counter, send a payment link or collect a booking deposit, with the right workflow for your version of Marlin.
01 / Integrated card payments
Send the amount straight to the terminal
With integrated EFT in Marlin Workshop, the invoice amount goes to the paired terminal. The payment result returns to Marlin, so the counter can follow the transaction without keying the amount into a separate device.
- Invoice to terminal
- Pass the amount from Marlin to the paired card terminal.
- A result in the transaction
- See whether the payment was authorised before completing the order.
- More than counter sales
- The Workshop guide also covers integrated EFT for customer account payments.
02 / Text2Pay
Let customers pay without coming back to the counter
MPay supports payment links sent by SMS or email. In GTX, Text2Pay sends an SMS link to a business-branded payment portal. The customer enters their own card details, and GTX finalises the invoice when the payment comes through.
- Pay from a link
- Give the customer a way to pay remotely.
- Customer enters the card
- Card details are entered in the payment portal.
- GTX invoice completion
- The payment result comes back to the waiting invoice.
03 / GTX deposits
Collect the deposit while the booking is being made
GTX Text2Pay covers work order deposits and planner bookings linked to a work order. Choose the deposit, full balance or another amount in the supported booking workflow, then follow the payment from the planner.
- Work order deposits
- Request a deposit using the MPay Text2Pay payment type.
- Booking payment requests
- Send a request from a planner booking linked to a work order.
- Paid status in the planner
- See whether the booking has been partially or fully paid.
04 / Payment visibility & setup
Keep payment activity together as the business grows
The MPay payment portal brings payment visibility across sites together. Behind the counter, Workshop’s integration settings connect the relevant branch, merchant and terminal, with transaction activity available for reviewing the connection.
- Payment portal
- View payments across your locations.
- Branch and terminal setup
- Pair the terminal to the relevant Workshop branch.
- Support with the connection
- The Megabus team helps establish the integration and review transaction activity.
