Products
The Marlin family, and what sits around it
Four products for running a tyre or mechanical business, and three services for the work you would rather hand over.
The Marlin family
Four products, one file
Every Marlin product works off the same customers, vehicles and stock, so adding one later does not mean a second system or a second login.

Connect payments with MPay
Connect payments to Marlin with integrated card terminals and payment links. Take payments at the counter or remotely, with GTX deposit workflows for bookings and work orders.
Services
Three things you can hand over
Bookkeeping, device care and hardware cover, run by the people who already support Marlin. Each one is someone at Megabus doing the work for you.
Questions
Choosing between them
Which Marlin should I look at first?
Marlin Workshop is the one most tyre and mechanical businesses run. Marlin GTX is point-of-sale first, for shops driven from the front counter. Book a demo and we will run both on the kind of jobs you do.
Do the services need Marlin?
Backoffice Services works inside your Marlin file, so it does. Shieldcare 365 and Hardcare cover the computers and the hardware in the shop rather than the software on them.
What happens to the data we have now?
The Megabus implementation team runs the conversion, on site or remotely, and has conversion paths from common point-of-sale, accounting and workshop systems.
Who supports us after go-live?
The Megabus helpdesk, on 03 9262 5000. There is also a customer portal with online help and answers to common questions, available 24/7.
How much does Marlin cost?
There is no price list. A Megabus representative goes through how your business runs, demonstrates Marlin, and then puts together a proposal with pricing and an implementation timeline for your business.
What does Marlin include that other systems charge extra for?
Accounting and BAS, payroll through Marlin HR with STP-2, and the online store are part of the platform rather than separate subscriptions. Workshop software is commonly sold with per-user pricing, a separate accounting subscription and module upgrades on top of it.
Where is our data kept?
In Australian data centres. Marlin uses bank-level encryption, automatic backups and role-based access, and Megabus runs regular security audits.
Does Marlin connect to our suppliers?
Yes. Marlin connects to major Australian tyre and parts suppliers over B2B and EDI, so you can check stock, place an order and process the supplier invoice without leaving the job.
Does it handle tyre retail and mechanical work together?
Yes, on one platform. A tyre-only system means running something else alongside it for mechanical servicing, with two sets of customers and two sets of stock.
Can Marlin look up a vehicle from its rego?
Yes. Rego lookup returns the vehicle, its specifications and its service history, which takes most of the typing out of the counter.
